Environmental Policy Statement



Thunder Lake Management Inc. (TLM) is committed to minimising the impact of its activities on the environment. The key points of its strategy to achieve this are:

  • Integrate sustainability considerations into all business decisions.
  • Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
  • Minimise the impact on sustainability of all office and transportation activities.
  • Actively promote recycling.
  • Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution.
  • Comply with all relevant environmental legislation.
  • Raise awareness among employees and contractors of environmental issues and the role they play in improving corporate performance.
  • Review practices from time to time to ensure ongoing improvements are made.
  • Purchase of equipment and consumption of resources

  • Minimise our use of paper and other office consumables, for example by double-siding all paper used, minimising colour printing, and identifying opportunities to reduce waste.
  • As far as possible arrange for the reuse or recycling of office waste, including paper, computer supplies and redundant equipment.
  • Reduce the energy consumption of office equipment by purchasing energy efficient equipment and good housekeeping.
  • Ensure that timber furniture and any other timber products are recycled or from well-managed, sustainable sources and are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified.
  • Working practices and advice to clients

  • Ensure that any associates that we employ take account of sustainability issues in their advice to clients.
